Introduction

We at "Masareefy" respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data Collection

The app does not collect any personal data nor send it to any external server. All data (transactions, budget, settings) is stored locally on your device only using device local storage (AsyncStorage).

Permissions

• Microphone: Used only when you tap the "Voice Record" button to add transactions by speech. The recording is processed locally via your phone's speech recognition service and is not saved.
• Speech Recognition: Converts your voice to text for transaction descriptions. Uses Google/Android's local service.
• Biometric: Used to lock the app and protect your financial data. Your biometric data is never stored - verification happens locally via Android system.
• File Access: Only when you request export or restore of a backup. The app does not access your other personal files.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not share any data with any third party. The app contains no tracking, advertisements, or analytics.

Data Storage and Security

All your data is stored only on your phone. When you uninstall the app, all data is permanently deleted. You can also manually clear all transactions from within the app's settings.

Backup

When using the "Export Backup" feature, a JSON file is created with your data. You choose where to save this file and who to share it with.

Children

This app is not directed to children under 13 years of age.
